Midlle East

The Middle East is known for wealth based on oil exploitation. However over the past years the Middle East and especially Dubai has attracted attention through the large-scale construction boom and the reshaping of the desert. A western infrastructure, politically stable government, low crime and investment friendly laws to settle or invest in the region, have attracted investors, businessmen and wealthy people from all over the world. Despite some opinions in Europe, the Middle East is still growing in many sectors and remains to be a good destination for investments.

For many Europeans the Middle still holds many mysteries however the region offers a diverse and multicultural society and has tranformed itself from oil revenues into a desert playground and an oasis for the super rich.

The density of wealthy people is very elevated in the Middle East and especially in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha. Not only the native Arabs are responsible for the large amount of assets or the managing them, there is also a continuously growing foreign population.  Almost all nationalities are represented although they do primarily come from the Asian continent. However all are successful in investments or business. Many of them do venture beyond the Middle East as has the Emir of Qatar who has berthed his private Yacht in Mallorca (Spain) and is one of the few rulers of the Middle Eastern countries increasingly focusing on Europe as their destination.
